I found this picture on the internet, and I have to say normally I HATE shawls. I think they look frumpy and I don't want to spend 10000 hours knitting one and then get a snag. HOWEVER - this shawl - "Love Affair" - well, I'm in love with it. Seriously. I don't care if it takes a million yards on size 0000 needles. I want it.
Now if only I could find the issue of Creative Knitting that it's in! We don't have this issue at work, at least that I can figure out.

I've been in a knitting funk lately. Even though I'm almost done with the back of this sweater (The criss-cross tank featured on the cover of Vogue Knitting Summer 04) I just can't get revved up about it. I even indulged in some new fiber (La Luz Multi in Rainforest) but I can't get excited about even that. Maybe I should just take the day off from knitting. :P
