Dammit!

I had a post all ready to go about the new shawl I've been working on as an early Xmas gift (yes, you heard right.) But then I saw my paycheck, and my hours at the store, and I just about had a heart attack. The ONE REASON I was happy about moving out was not paying rent for the time being. Too bad my hours got cut, so I am STILL barely making it! Can you imagine surviving on essentially $100/week? Because I am, right now. And it is damn painful. *sigh*

On the very happy side, I am getting a "big surprise" from my parents for my birthday. Seeing as I already have a car, I can't imagine what it would be. I also got hired on for 5 weeks at the local college mentoring to HS students, but that doesn't start til JUNE. *sob* (Even if the money is good, hehe.)

Just for once, can I make more money than I spend in bills? I am not a shopper, really. I have not bought one thing in over a month, except groceries. NOT EVEN A CD, y'all! And still I have $15 for the whole week left over after bills. Did I mention the baby shower is at a restaurant, and food is not free? Personally I do not think you should hold parties at restaurants without everyone's support, because some us just can't afford it right now.

I'm gonna go mope and be grumpy. :P
